NATIONAL PROGRAMME
This work reflects our ability to deliver large, live-environment programmes; keeping operations running while progressing works across multiple sites and scopes.
These asbestos removal and demolition projects demonstrate a consistent approach to managing complex work across operational environments.
Multi-year programme (including a three-year major project component)
This programme demonstrates our ability to operate as a main contractor across complex, ongoing works, delivering across multiple sites while maintaining control, consistency, and safety over time.
- Large-scale asbestos removal and remediation
- Demolition and strip-out works
- Internal building upgrades and reconfiguration
- Environmental and contamination management
- Delivery of specialist works under main contractor responsibilities
- Coordination across multiple live operational sites
Delivered for a Tier 1 national client across multiple operational sites.
Over a multi-year period, we delivered asbestos removal and demolition projects alongside remediation, internal works, and specialist delivery across a range of operational sites.
All works were completed within live, 24/7 environments, requiring consistent planning, coordination, and control to maintain operations while progressing works safely.
This ongoing programme involved delivering a wide range of works across multiple locations, often within active facilities where disruption was not an option.
Works were staged, sequenced, and adapted to suit operational requirements, with a strong focus on safety, coordination, and maintaining continuity across all project areas.
A key part of the programme involved a large-scale roofing removal and building upgrade delivered within an operational facility.
Across a three-year period — including the COVID-19 pandemic — works included removal of approximately 16,000m² of asbestos roofing, along with demolition of deteriorated timber framing and removal of redundant systems.
These works formed part of a wider upgrade to improve energy efficiency and seismic performance, and were delivered while the building remained fully operational. This required close coordination with other trades and full management of safety across all personnel working within the asbestos zones.
Specialist Works & Environmental Cleans
Alongside major works, a wide range of environmental and contamination management projects were delivered across multiple sites.
These included removal of contaminants such as:
- asbestos
- lead
- fibreglass
Project durations ranged from single-day response works through to three-month programmes, with areas varying from small targeted cleans to large-scale operational facilities.
Works were carried out across weekdays, nights, and weekends to align with operational requirements and minimise disruption to business activities.
Internal Building Works
The programme also included a variety of internal works delivered within live environments.
This included:
- emergency ceiling removal and reinstatement completed within a single night
- Class A asbestos gasket removal across active warehouse systems
- internal strip-outs of approximately 4,000m², repurposing operational areas into office space
These works required flexibility, rapid response, and controlled execution to meet tight timeframes without impacting ongoing operations.
Asbestos Removal & Demolition Projects Outcomes
This programme combines scale, flexibility, and long-term delivery across multiple operational sites.
- Over 16,000m² of asbestos roofing removed as part of building upgrades
- 400+ tonnes of asbestos-containing material safely removed
- Project environments ranging from 2m² targeted cleans to 16,000m² facilities
- Internal strip-outs of up to 4,000m² completed
- Works delivered within live, 24/7 operational environments across multiple sites
Across these asbestos removal and demolition projects, works were delivered within active environments requiring coordination across multiple contractors and stakeholders.
This included:
- managing high-risk works at scale
- coordinating multiple workstreams and site interfaces
- delivering specialist scopes under main contractor responsibilities
- maintaining consistent safety and control across all stages
Works were staged and adapted to suit changing conditions, ensuring progress could be maintained while operations continued.
